WELCOME TO COLETTE CARR PAINTS

    Colette Carr is a self taught artist born and raised in Malibu California. She finds freedom in her abstract energetic expression. Colette paints with an intention in mind, in hopes that it carries over onto the canvas and into her paintings.
    Colette Carr traveled the world as a major label recording artist, performing her music while simultaneously painting her body and canvas while singing on stage. Although she is inspired by the cities she visits and their energy Colette’s paintings are always rooted in her hometown. Her studio faces a queens necklace view of the Pacific ocean, setting the tone for her body of work. You will notice a lot of blue hues in her layers as she plays with mixed medium from oil to acrylic, powder, gloss and resin. She approaches all canvases with an open mind and spirit.
    More than just her music and art, Colette’s life is dedicated to “helping and inspiring others to be comfortable and confident with who they are. I’m not afraid to let everyone see my flaws. I’d love to see this art inspire people.”
